In Prijedor, over 3,000 mainly Bosniak Muslims were murdered throughout the genocidal ethnic cleansing campaign committed by Serb forces.
This Saturday we’ll be broadcasting a discussion with a survivor of Prijedor and the Omarska Concentration Camp; Satko Mujagić.
#OnThisDay in 1992, Serb forces shelled and attacked civilians standing in line for bread during the Siege of Sarajevo. Over 20 people were killed and over 140 were injured. Serbian snipers shot at rescuers and ambulances attempting to collect the wounded.
Today students from our new online Centring Survivors Voices module heard from @srebrenicahasan from @SrebrenicaMC about genocide survivors stories (in association with @SrebrenicaSw @SrebrenicaUK). Hvala puno Hasan - we are so grateful for your thoughtful answers to questions.
