A delegation of Welsh politicians, journalists and teachers travelled from Wales to Bosnia in August 2016 on the "Lessons from Srebrenica" programme. In this video four of the delegates talk about what the experience means to them and what lessons they'll take back to their country.
In December, all Greater Manchester leaders resolved to recognise 11 July as the day of commemoration of the Srebrenica genocide, and work with community partners to tackle hatred and intolerance.

Well done to the Abu Hanifah Foundation for winning the award for best new initiative. During memorial week, the foundation delivered education workshops on the lessons from Srebrenica to hundreds of pupils at their supplementary school.
