On WhiteArmBand day we spoke to Satko Mujagic who survived the concentration camp Omarska during which he was beaten, tortured, and marked for execution. Today mark 28 years since the camps were discovered by British Journalists which saved Satko’s life.
This week marks 28 years since British Journalists discovered the concentration camps in Prijedor which led to the closure of the concentration camp Omarska where over 6,000 people were imprisoned and over 700 were murdered.
On today’s date in 1992, over 124 Bosniak Muslims were massacred at Hrastova Glavica near Sanski Most. The people, who were massacred and then thrown in a mass grave which would be discovered in 1998, were detainees of the Omarska and Keraterm concentrated camps.
